Team Captains Meeting PowerPoint Presentations
Team Captains’ Meetings (TCM) will be held the afternoon prior to each event at Wedgewood Resort. There will also be an introductory Team Captains’ Meeting on Saturday prior to the Opening Ceremonies

The 2023 US Ski & Snowboard Junior Nationals will take place Monday, March 13 through Thursday, March 16, hosted by the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks. This year’s event has been truncated to three competitions in four days, rather than the traditional four competitions in six days. Here’s the general schedule:
- Monday, March 13 – Interval Start / Classic Technique – both genders of all classes race 7.5Km
- Tuesday, March 14 – Sprint / Free Technique – in the qualifying round, all classes will compete over a 1350m course; the U16 class will compete in heats over a 1050m course while the U18 and U20 skiers will compete in heats over the same 1350m course as in qualifying
- Thursday, March 16 – Mass Start / Free Technique – U16 skiers will race 5Km, U18 skiers will race 10Km and the U20 skiers will race 15Km. Both genders in each class compete over the same distance

All competitions will be held at Birch Hill Recreation Area in Fairbanks on FIS-homologated courses. All events will be FIS-sanctioned. Birch Hill is a well-known competition venue, having hosted a men’s FIS World Cup race in 1984 (won by Gunde Svan), Junior National Championships in 1975, 1995, 2003, 2013 and 2023, SuperTour Finals/Distance National Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2017, Arctic Winter Games in 1982, 1988 and 2014, and multiple Alaska State High School Championships
